“ This place is flying under the radar and should not be. Had a fantastic lunch - highly recommend the seared trout w/ potatoes gratin, radish, peas, and pear. It was perfection. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. There are many menu reasons to return and I can't wait! ”
“ This place hasn’t been open very long, maybe a month or so. I live a few blocks away and didn’t even notice as they don’t have a sign up yet and I haven’t seen any advertising. The place has a relaxed, comfortable vibe and a decent outdoor seating area. The food, I had the burger and fries and I also tried a chorizo slider that was on the happy hour menu. Both were EXCELLENT! And the fries, top notch! I think two of the best burgers in Kansas City are 100 yards from each other. Plate, just down the street, and Faculty, in my opinion, have the best burgers in KC right now. I had cocktail #1, a grapefruit and gin concoction that was refreshing, crisp and not sugary sweet, also excellent! Once people realize they are open, this place should be packed. For now, enjoy it while you can! ”

I didn’t have the food but when I looked over at other plates around me the food looked tempting to eat. I was there for happy hour myself. I think the atmosphere could use a little improvement. It’s a small space so you can hear other people’s conversations. Usually people just ignore others around them but it helps to have the music turned up so people can speak freely. Overall I would come back with my laptop and order food. Maybe invite my friends to sit and write. Great vibes and I hope more people come! Support this business yall! ”
